Bio Steven Vaughan is an unusual artist, having achieved success in advertising, film, and design work. He has directed hundreds of commercials for Fortune 500 companies including BMW, Ford, Chrysler, L'Oreal, Ralph Lauren, The Wall St. Journal, AT&T, DeBeers Diamonds, Taco Bell, USAir, Nissan Motors, Miller Beer, Red Dog Beer, Fanta soft drinks, and Sports Illustrated. He has directed under contract to George Lucas and Dream Quest Images. Steven created his own brand of eyewear that was sold in over 100 stores and represented 40% of sunglass sales at Henri Bendel's in New York City. Halle Berry wore them on the red carpet at the 2003 Oscars. Lisa Marie Presley, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, and Elton John are among the large list of celebrities who wear them. Steven has designed his own line of menswear and worked freelance for Juicy Couture, and Liz Claiborne. He has designed Logos and graphics for a wide range of clients including movie studios, private schools, radio stations, restaurants, and TV stations. The common thread between all of these diverse projects is design. It doesen't matter if it's a TV commercial, a product, or a logo. It's all designed and Steven believes design is, in it's simplest form, a plan with style. Awards include "Best of Year" TV campaign from Advertising Age, "Best Art Direction" at New York Art Directors Club, "Best TV Spot" Chicago Film Festival, and the Effie "for a 20% increase in sales" from his Publix supermaket TV campaign, among others. Steven Vaughan understands the importance of your creative solutions because he has operated his own retail brand. He understands you need solutions that look great, but also work beautifully for your bottom line. The tools used to create a film or design don't matter much as who's using them. A pencil and paper cost almost nothing, but in the hands of an artist, they can create something priceless. A million dollar camera package in the wrong hands will only create a lot of debt. The safest investment in creative work is to hire the best talent. Steven Vaughan is a solid investment. |
